Geordie Shore’s Ricci Guarnaccio has slammed critics who’ve called his romance with Lauren Goodger fake and told heat he hopes to whisk the former TOWIE star off to Essex, after being booted off Celebrity Big Brother last night.
Ricci, who was evicted with Lauren, says he’d love to escape the media hype and speak to Lauren privately to see if she’d like to take things further.
“I fancied Lauren as soon as I walked in – she is gorgeous and everything I want in a woman,” Ricci told heat.
“I’d love to whisk Lauren off to Paris and take her away, just us two, so we can talk away from the public gaze and be just the two of us. I feel like we’ve missed out on the dating part because we met in the house. I would have taken Lauren on dates if we hadn’t met inside the house though. I’m picky so I know I like her.”
Since the start of the show, it seemed clear Ricci had it bad for Lauren but, whatever her intentions now, Ricci says everything he’s done has been real.
“We’ve spent 24/7 together and we’ve gotten to know each other so well – for me it was 100% real and 100% natural. I don’t want to jump into bed with her now we’re out, I respect her too much to do that.
“Last night I met her mum and she met all my friends and we all got on really well together. Who knows what will happen in the future.”
Now he’s out of the house, Ricci says he’s backing Dee to win, after she became his “rock” in the house but said Gary [Busey] was “the rudest man I ever met.” Welcome back to the real world, Ricci!
