Katie Price has confirmed she IS pregnant with her fifth child and has already reached the end of her second trimester – despite not even knowing she had conceived.
The glamour model is six months pregnant but didn't realise until she got back home from her holiday in Cape Verde at the end of last month.
Speaking to Now magazine, the 35-year-old explained that she'd had some really bad stomach pains during her getaway with third husband Kieran Hayler and kids Harvey, Junior, Princess and Jett – but didn't put two and two together until they returned to Blighty.
"I didn't feel pregnant, though. The day we flew home, we all got into the house at 1am and I thought the first thing I'd do when I woke up was a pregnancy test," she wrote in her column.
"When I did it, it came up positive."
The news was broken yesterday by a source who told the Sun on Sunday that Katie will give birth later this summer – pretty much a year after having nine-month-old Jett – after falling pregnant in November 2012.
However, it shouldn't come as a surprise because Katie has always been open about her plans to have a huge family.
"Katie's 35 now, so it's no surprise she has fallen pregnant so quickly after Jett. She wants eight children in total, so this pregnancy is definitely a step in the right direction," said the source.
However, in her mag column back in March, Katie blasted speculation that she and Kieran were trying to conceive again.
"I was amused to hear that a mag says I'm trying for a baby girl. Jett is only six months and I haven't got my body back yet! The last thing I need right now is another screaming baby," she wrote.
"It's true I don't use contraception but I'm not planning to get pregnant and I'm not on a special baby diet."
