Made in Chelsea’s Oliver Proudlock admits he split up with his girlfriend before flying out with the cast to film in NYC and vowed to be single so he could focus on his work.
Er, so when reports came out earlier this week, what was he doing kissing a mystery girl in the VIP area of Southend’s Mayhem nightclub during a night out with co-star Spencer Matthews?
We caught up with Proudlock on the red carpet at the Elite Model Look UK 2014 awards, held at London’s Porchester Hall last night, to grill him on THAT snog. He told us:
It was someone I met that night. No I don’t think I’m seeing her again. I may have had a few drinks, it was a very embarrassing article that I prefer hadn’t been put out but these things happen. I’ve learnt my lesson.
We asked him about his split from girlfriend Grace McGovern, and he told us: “It was difficult for me, I love her so much and we’d been together for two years, it was a very big change for both of us, it’s never that easy. We still keep in contact and still on good terms which is great. It was just the timing for both of us, we just need to be single now and focus on our various projects.”
Single?! Er, so, what were you doing snogging a girl in a club? We asked Proudlock if his kiss was a rebound, and he said: “No comment.”
With that out of his system, let’s hope he sticks to his word this time.
