HERE'S A GALLERY OF MARK AND FIANCEE MICHELLE'S MOST LOVED-UP MOMENTS
Mark Wright was one of the first main personalities on ITV2’s structured reality show The Only Way Is Essex. The former nightclub promoter is originally from the Essex village of Abridge, just down the road from where the show is filmed in Brentwood.
After kick starting his career with TOWIE in 2011, he left following the third series to see what lay beyond the borders of his home county.
From here, Mark went out into the wilderness (obviously the neighbouring counties and London were too close) and managed to come second in ITV’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. After scrubbing off the jungle grime and flying back to the UK, in early 2012 he landed a slot on an ITV2 spin off, Take me out: The Gossip. He co-presented the show with Zoe Hardman, conducting interviews from Club Fernando’s and backstage.
The star has also had his own TV show. In 2012, Mark Wright’s Hollywood Nights hit our screens. A take on the US show, Entourage – Mark flew him and friends over to LA to live and played some hilarious pranks on them. The reviews were less than amusing, but he had a great time anyway.
He was due to host ITV dating show My Man Can with Melanie Sykes but in 2013 the series was axed before it even made it to air.
He’s a bit of a ladies' man and has stolen the hearts of many an eligible female.
His dating history includes an on-off relationship with TOWIE co star Lauren Goodger, whom he was dating for nine years. He was also romantically linked with the show’s Sam Faiers and Lucy Mecklenburgh. Australian model Emily Scott also had a taste of the Essex boy’s charms while they were fending off rats in the jungle. Whilst filming his TV show Mark Wright’s Hollywood’s Nights he was rumoured to be dating US Volleyball player Chelsea Rashoff.
However, in December 2012 it emerged he was dating former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan and in September 2013 they confirmed they were engaged.
The cheeky chappy is also known for his fondness for his appearance. A devout gym bunny with a stomach you could chop wood on and perfectly coifed hair – it’s rare to catch him looking less than his best.
NB. This man will have, and always does have, a very good tan.
