Tulisa Contostavlos is best known for being the all-important lady part of N Dubz. Tulisa is to the band what Fergie is to the Black Eyed Peas, she sings and looks gorgeous while the boys rap a few words behind her.
Tulisa joined the Dubz when she was just thirteen, back then she was just plain old Tula. Tula started singing with her cousin Costas and their mate Richard. The trio quickly changed into the far cooler Tulisa, Dappy, and Fazer and became N Dubz, named after their North West London NW postcode.
The band quickly gained popularity on the urban scene and eventually broke into the mainstream. After three albums and eight top 40 hits, the band have won four MOBOs since they released there first single.
Before she joined the band, Tulisa has admitted she was badly bullied. She also has talked about dabbling with girl gangs, taking drugs and breaking the law although her dad has rejected her claims and said she was ‘spoilt rotten’ and came from a middle class background. Tulisa also suffered with depression and self-harmed as a teenager, she has described these years as ‘really hard’.
Tulisa will star as a judge on the eighth series of X Factor, However, Tulisa has appeared on TV before, she famously presented a documentary about her struggles growing up with a mother who suffers mental health problems. She also appeared in N Dubz own tv show: Being N Dubz.
Tulisa has been linked to band mate Fazer, the two insist that is al in the past and they are ‘just good friends’, She dated rapper, Ultra for a while, but the couple split last year. She is currently single and ready to mingle.
In 2012 a sex tape featuring Tulisa and her ex boyfriend Dj Justin Edwards, shortly after the video leaked Tulisa posted a video onto YouTube opening up about the clip, she said:

In 2013, Tulisa Contostavlos was embroiled in a drug scandal, when she was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs. She was cleared of all charges and it was believed that Mazher Mahmood - otherwise known as the Fake Sheikh - had lied in court. A TV show about her difficult year was shown on BBC Three - Tulisa: The Price of Fame - in which she revealed that she attempted after the Fake Sheikh sting.
Louis Walsh confirmed that Tulisa will return to The X Factor in 2014 for the 11th series as Louis Walsh's guest judge in the judge's houses stage.
