Lena Headey DOES get naked for Game Of Thrones’ Cersei Lannister ‘walk of shame’ scene – and producers blow £125k on closing the set

Great news for fans of both boobs AND historical fantasies: Game Of Thrones star Lena Headey will be getting totally naked for the upcoming fourth series when her character Cersei Lannister does a ‘walk of shame’ scene through Kings Landing.

Producers yesterday splashed $200,000 (£125,000) on closing the set for Lena’s big reveal, which involves Cersei stripping off in a church and walking naked through town towards the Red Keep, as punishment for confessing to sleeping with her cousin, Lancel Lannister.

It almost didn’t happen through, as authorities in Dubrovnik – where a massive part of the series is filmed – originally refused to grant a film permit because the local church didn’t approve.

But they relented after producers promised Lena wouldn’t strip off inside the Church of St Nicholas, and had a set of the church built instead.

More than 200 extra security guards were brought in to ensure no peeping Toms could see Lena, and local shopkeepers were paid to close their businesses while filming took place.

Just four members of the crew were on hand when Lena actually started disrobing, so we’re guessing the angry crowds will be added in digitally afterwards.

Over on Twitter dot com, Lena hasn’t yet made any reference to her big storyline – her last tweet was directed at a random man who decided not to close his mouth while eating eggs, so… Basically WE CAN’T WAIT for Go**T to come back to our screens.
