The musician has battled health problems, and was diagnosed with auto-immune condition Grave’s disease in 2011, but she maintains that her dramatic weight loss has nothing to do with her illness.
She recently told a fan: “My weight loss has nothing to do with Grave’s disease actually. I decided to start eating healthily because healthy is better.”
The 43-year-old has sold over 30 million records, but has been off the grid lately as she works behind the scenes producing music for the likes of Jennifer Hudson.
