Music mogul Simon Cowell defended his decision to vote Chloe-Jasmine off tonight's X Factor.

The father-of-one told The Xtra Factor presenter: "I don’t think she wanted it that much."

Simon claimed he “could” just tell that Chloe-Jasmine "apparently didn’t really want to win The X Factor".

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini quickly jibes back at Simon, with: “…like he’s telepathic.”

After Simon branded Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Kermit for her fashion choice and a whole bunch of other bickering occurred between the other X Factor judges on Saturday night, anyone would have thought the battle on the panel would have been enough – but it seems Chezza’s girls were at war and she was forced to step in and pull them apart.

The former Girls Aloud singer’s girls – Stephanie Nala, Lola Saunders, Lauren Platt and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello – have apparently been at each other’s throats.

And while we can’t imagine Chezza literally pulling the girlies apart with her pretty hands, she has apparently warned them they must be on their best behaviour.

Simon may be in hot water with Chezza, booting off one of her contestants and calling her "a muppet".

What will Simon do next? Better still what will Chezza do to retaliate?
