Knock, knock. Who’s there? Only bleeding Cilla Battersby-Brown!
Yep, that’s right, folks, scheming Cilla’s back on t’cobbles in _Corri_e and from the look on their faces, Ches and Fizz aren’t that made up to see her. To be fair, it might have something to do with the small fact she abandoned her kids for a life in Las Vegas. Nice.
The last we saw of scheming Cilla, she’d sold an heirloom given to her by the rich man she was looking after at the nursing home and used the £45K to start a brand new life in America.
But tomorrow night she’s back in Weatherfield, interrupting poor Roy mid-monologue about making Sinead’s wedding cake for free (we're hoping for a tiered cream cake creation, BTW.) But why is Cilla back? Has she had her fill of fast food and fancies one of Betty’s homemade hot pots or has she spent all her money on the slot machines?
Either way, by the look of those bags, it looks like she’s set to stick around for a while...
