Iggy’s been on the receiving end of a LOT of abuse in the last few weeks – last month Snoop Dogg called her a “fking ct” and mocked her looks, and yesterday a lyric from Eminem’s new track Vegas came to light that actually threatened her with rape.

Yup. As we reported, Eminem’s rap contains the immortal lines:

“Bch, shut the fk up and get in my car. And suck my fking dk while I take a st/And I think with my dk so come blow my mind. And it tastes like humble pie. So swallow my pride, you're lucky just to follow my ride/If I let you run alongside the Humvee. Unless you're Nicki, grab you by the wrist, let's ski/So what's it gon' be? Put that s**t away Iggy. You don't wanna blow that rape whistle on me. Scream! I love it. 'Fore I get lost with the gettin' off.”

Grim, right? Well it got worse, because Iggy herself found out about the lyrics and took to Twitter to clear a few things up.

“I’m bored of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting $ trend. Zzzz,” she tweeted.

“It’s especially akward because my 14 year old brother is the biggest eminem fan and now the artist he admired says he wants to rape me. nice!”

She added: “Women in music have the bigger balls anyhow we endure much more harassment and critic. good morninnggggg!!!!!! off to camera block for AMAs!”

Say what you like about Iggy’s music, THAT is a classy response.

She also replied to followers who told her to stop taking ‘Slim Shady’ seriously.

Eminem hasn’t yet spoken publicly about his track, although it seems to have divided opinion among his fans, with some saying those who don’t like what he’s talking about to turn it off, and others insisting rape is never a topic to joke about.

What do you think of his rap? Let us know in the comments below.
