Time to buy a massive f**k-off hat news now, and it looks like Katie Price’s cage-fighting ex, Alex Reid, is engaged again – this time to his personal trainer girlfriend Nikki Menashe.
The couple got engaged over the weekend, with Nikki posting a picture of her sparkly diamond ring on Saturday with the caption: “#engaged #alexreid #shocked he finally asked me I'm officially going to be mrs Reid.”
She then shared a snap of a wedding-themed top and a big ol’ planner with the message “#wedding #weddingplanner #help #engaged #event #party #wifey it's all happening” next to it.
“My wedding planner is exhausted,” Nikki tagged yet another photo on her Instagram, this one showing the couple’s cat looking pooped next to a pile of bridal mags.
While Alex himself hasn’t yet officially commented on the news, Nikki’s been making no secret of the fact they’ve taken their relationship to the next level.
The pair have been together since May 2013, two years after Alex and Katie divorced – though Nikki still managed to incur Jordan’s wrath in the early days by selling off a load of Alex’s possessions on eBay with some rather unflattering jibes at Katie.
One phone cover that went up on sale was described: “Alex Reid is a very kind and caring bf and bought this for Katie Price, who we know used him and clearly showed this via her cold bitterness ways and refused this sweet gift from her husband.”
Sheesh. As well as poking the Pricey hornets’ nest, Alex and Nikki had a pretty rough time last summer when she went through an ectopic pregnancy, which Alex later said had almost killed her. However, they both wanted to move on and try for another baby “when the time was right”.
