Nicole Scherzinger will perform her new track Run on this Sunday’s X Factor. And heat favourite, Olly Murs will also perform on the results shows.

And it might be a tad awks. Not because Olly Murs will wear incredibly tight trousers and everyone will be distracted, but mainly because Sherzy will be performing in front of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who branded Nicole as "weird" in her autobiography, and said their first encounter was both "really embarrassing" and "just so awkward".

Don't worry Chezza, it won't be awkward, unless she mimes the whole thing...

Sources close to the show told The Metro that Nicole will be kept "In an artist area at the front of the building - like all guests are". Yeah, but do all guest have major BEEF with Cheryl? Probably best to keep them separated, then.

And guess what? Nicole’s just released the new video for her track, what impeccable timing. Well, we doubt she actually released it herself. There’s probably a computer nerd at Vevo that manually uploaded the video for her, but still, it has her voice AND face in the video, so she does deserve some credit.

Run is the third track to come from her latest album Big Fat Lie following Your Love and On the Rocks.

Thirty-six year old Nicole has recently been performing in the revived production of Cats in London, where she plays Grizabella.

Run is being released on December 15. So RUN to the shops and buy it, eh, eh? Yeah, we’ll stop now.
