Stevi Ritchie “really, really deflated” after making it through to next live X Factor show

Stevi Ritchie may be giving Jedward and Wagner a run for their money when it comes to competing for the title of ’Cheesiest X Factor Act of All Time’ but he’s definitely entertaining.

And while he may divide opinion when it comes to keeping his place on the show, it seems the aspiring singer may be feeling a bit sorry for himself after this week’s result on Sunday night.

Mel B’s act Paul Akister was voted off the show after coming in the bottom two along with Jay James.

But Stevi said he felt “really, really deflated” after securing his place in the competition for another week as he was disappointed Paul had been given the boot.

Speaking on The Xtra Factor, he said: “I’m happy [that I’m through] and I’m really thankful the public have got me through, I really am. I can’t thank them enough.

“But downstairs, I was just crying. Jay has been with me since Boot Camp and gave an emotional performance, and Paul was one of the best singers in the competition.

“Part of me just feels a little bit guilty. I just feel really guilty and deflated and for me, getting emotional... I just feel like that now. Words can’t describe it.”

Don’t worry, Stevi! Things will improve next week once you’re surrounded by those female dancers again.
