They’re unwrapping “joy” - which is basically the same this as chocolate, right?

Today has been a good day for Christmas adverts - first Sainsburys dropped their festive effort paying tribute to the soldiers who fought in the trenches in World War 1. Meanwhile, Cadburys have roped in the likes of Fearne Cotton, Paddy McGuinness, Keith Lemon, Stephen Mulhern, Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley - basically, most of ITV’s presenting line up.

However, instead of any heart-wrenching emotional tugging like John Lewis and Sainsbury's. Cadbury have gone for a simple ‘let’s get Phillip Schofield to unwrap some pants with Keith Lemon’s face on’ motif. Elsewhere in the advert, Keith Lemon gets a Christmas kazoo and it’s pretty great.

There’s also a video of the gang playing charades and particularly struggling with the clue of “marking up the Christmas TV shows you want to watch in Radio Times”. Come on Paddy, that’s dead-easy mate, hold an invisible pen, draw circles on an invisible bit of paper in the air and the job's a gooden.
