Singer and Strictly star Alesha Dixon has said US mega chat show host Oprah is her idol and would love to meet her.
“She’s so incredible and she uses her fame for good,” Alesha told The Sun. “She tries to help other people.
“The way she lives her life is very centred, grounded and spiritual. It would be a dream to meet her.”
But could Alesha emulate Oprah and get her own show in the US?
“I was having meetings in America about going out there next year,” she said. “I’d love to go out there. It’s such a big place and there’s so much opportunity.”

Not that Alesha’s turning her back on music just yet. She also looks up to the queen of the conical bra Madonna.
“What I love about Madonna is she does what pleases her,” says Alesha. “She writes her own script. She was a huge influence on me. I really loved her music and admired her as a female performer.”
For now Alesha’s got a fair bit on her plate here in the UK, with a seat on next year’s Britain’s Got Talent judging panel and an appearance on ITV’s Text Santa tomorrow night alongside George Clooney, Simon Cowell andX Factor winner Ben Haenow.
