Great news fans of reality TV romances – it looks like *TOWIE’*s Lucy Mecklenburgh has fallen head of heels for gymnast and Tumble judge Louis Smith.
This isn’t the first time we’ve reported that the pair, who met on the BBC gymnastics show, were getting romantic – back in September we heard that there was A LOT of flirting going on between them, despite Lucy originally saying 5ft 10in Louis was too short. Ouchie…
But now, according to new reports from The Sun, Lucy has put her height worries behind her and is getting pretty serious with Louis, who has just signed up for Channel 4 reality show The Jump.
Last week, Louis took Lucy on a romantic date to the ice rink in Canary Wharf, London, and things are moving fast between them, according to pals.
A source told* The Sun*: “There were lots of rumours about Louis and Lucy when he was judging Tumble and she was a contestant.
“It’s true they were flirting, but nothing happened.
“In fact, Lucy went as far as to say he was too short, which must have come as a bit of a blow to his ego.
“Louis got with someone straight after Tumble but they split and he bumped into Lucy.
“She must have forgotten about his size because sparks flew and they started dating.
“He took her to a skating rink last Thursday, which is apt considering he’ll be on The Jump in the new year.
“They had a brilliant time and things are really heating up between them.
“The way things are looking they could be together for a long time.”
