After months of putting her body through gruelling training regimes Caroline Flack triumphed on Strictly Come Dancing last night.

So it’s hardly surprising she’s feeling pretty exhausted now the series has come to an end.

And what better way to celebrate than to hang out with the famous glitterball trophy and show it off to the world?

The television presenter posted a picture of the prize while she was watching cartoons today and another of herself, err, sleeping with the ball.

She wrote on Instagram: “Sunday...Cartoons...glitterball...”

Caroline and her professional dance partner Pasha Kovalev beat fellow finalists Mark Wright, Simon Webbe and Frankie Bridge in this weekend’s final.

Thanking her fellow contenders and fans in a series of messages today, she tweeted: “Last night the best night of my life.... A massive shout out to @FrankieTheSats @keviclifton @MarkWright_ @simonwebbe1 @KRihanoff.

“A real incredible group of people whom yesterday were a complete joy to be dancing with xx.”

Caroline added: “And THANK YOU for supporting me and Pasha throughout the series.... What a night...I can’t even lift my head let alone the glitterball :)”

Well done, Caroline! Now, enjoy a good rest...
