And, erm, it kind of came out that Caroline’s got a bit of a thing for Bargain Hunt’s Tim Wonnacott.
“Who did I have a crush on, on strictly? Do you know what out of all the men I would say I really liked Tim Wonnacott from Bargain Hunt. I’m not joking, he was so charming. So, so charming every time I saw him.”
Steady on Caz.
Moving swiftly on, the pair – who’re going to be on Magic FM on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve – got together to talk about what they most love about Christmas.
“I used to have to wait for my Nan and Granddad to come, I was like a little puppy,” Olly said. “I was literally at the window and I’d be like, ‘They’re going to be here any minute.’
“Mum would be like, ’They’re not coming for three hours.’ And my Dad would make us bacon muffins in the morning like McDonalds muffins. When you’re a kid it’s much more special. I think I love giving people presents but when I was a kid I didn’t want to give any presents. It was like I can’t wait to receive!”
For Caroline, Christmas is all about the tunes. She added: “My favourite Christmas song is Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire.
“It’s a song that we would open our presents to. My dad was really into his Christmas music when we were younger. As soon as we got up the music went on before anything else.”
“The fire would be on and you could smell the turkey in the oven and everyone would be in their dressing gowns, putting those slippers on and you could hear the wrapping going before the song came on”
We cannot wait for the big day now.
