Just six months into their romance, it seems that Rita Ora and green-haired rapper Ricky Hilfiger have split up because Rita’s too busy with her career.
“Rita is so busy she is just flat out at the moment,” a source told the Daily Mirror.
"She’s recording The Voice on BBC1, she has campaigns for make-up, clothing and a perfume coming out.
“Not to mention featuring in a Hollywood film, performing for the Obamas this week and recording her second album.
Realistically, she doesn’t have time for a steady relationship
“Realistically, she doesn’t have time for a steady relationship. It’s not acrimonious – they just sort of drifted apart."
Sounds like Rita has plenty to keep her occupied/stop her from drunk texting Ricky at 3am. Plus, they’ve been on different continents for the past few weeks with Ricky – son of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger – being in Los Angeles and Rita spending time in Washington, New York and London.
But perhaps things aren’t completely over for the couple. "They do share a lot of mutual friends, though, so they’re bound to stay in touch,” said the insider.
"However it’s just not practical to be together right now.”
