James Corden will recived an OBE from The ACTUAL Queen in her New Year's honours list, thanks to his services to entertainment and charity.

JC rose to fame and Smithy in the hit BBC comedy, Gavin and Stacey, as well as earning critical acclaim for his Broadway and West End appearances.

A source in Buckingham Palace told The Sun that James is a "huge young talent" and commended his charitible work, dubbing him a "fantastic ambassador for the nation".

It's recently been anounced that James will take over from US chatshow host Craig Ferguson to host The Late Late Show on CBS.

He's also promoting his latest film,* Into The Woods*, which stars Emily Blunt, Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep and hits cinemas on January 9. Well, looks like Smithy has come along way. Well done, James. Don't forget us when you're a big star in the US of A!
