IT’S CHRISTMAAAS! Or at least it is in Buckingham Palace as senior members of the royal family head to Buckingham Palace for their first official Christmas feast.

Prince William was seen driving himself and Kate to the palace this afternoon for the traditional pre-Christmas gathering. The couple, who are expecting their second child in April, were accompanied by nanny Maria Teresa Borrallo so we’re guessing Prince George was also heading to the celebration.

So who else is going to be there to pull the royal Christmas crackers? Royal party animal Prince Harry was seen being driven to the palace, as was Prince Charles, Prince Beatrice, Prince Edward and Princess Anne.

The Queen hosts Christmas Day at Sandringham Palace in Norfolk for the immediate family, but today’s Buckingham Palace gathering is a chance for extended family members to have possibly the poshest Christmas meal ever.

Now the Queen’s started Christmas celebrations, we reckon it’s officially time to eat a whole chocolate orange in one sitting…
