The Woman in Black: Angel Of Death is released in cinemas on 1 January 2015 and focuses on a group of children who are evacuated to Crythin Gifford’s creepy Eel Marsh House to escape the bombs falling on London during World War Two – 40 years after Daniel Radcliffe’s hapless lawyer Arthur Kipps first encountered pure evil.
Based on the bestselling gothic novella by Susan Hill, The Woman in Black was first turned into a chilling stage show in 1989 and has since become one of the longest-running productions on the West End.
In 2012 the story was adapted into a film starring Daniel – and became the highest-grossing British horror film in 20 years.
In the bone-chilling must-see sequel, school teacher Eve Parkins (played by Phoebe Fox) and hardened headteacher Jean Hogg (Helen McCrory) are in charge of the rag-tag group of young evacuees – but can they keep their cool when the Woman in Black is awoken to haunt their temporary residence?
With the assistance of dashing RAF pilot Harry Burnstow (played by War Horse star Jeremy Irvine), can Eve protect the children entrusted to her care AND work out why the ghostly Woman is hell-bent on exacting her terrifying revenge?
