Lucy Mecklenburgh and Louis Smith confirm romance with New Year’s PDA-athon

Do you feel like actual death? Is your brain trying to burst out of your skull and are things growing in your mouth you never knew existed? Well, welcome to day two of your New Year’s Eve hangover.

Some people who are unlikely to be feeling like this are Lucy Mecklenburgh and Louis Smith because they saw in the New Year by snogging each other’s faces off which is a hangover-free activity.

The pair sparked speculation they were dating last week after they were pictured together but they’ve now pretty much confirmed they’re an item by sucking on each other’s lips and plastering pictures of themselves in action all over Twitter.

Olympic gymnast Louis had a party at his house to ring in 2015 and set up a camera for people to pose in front of - a makeshift wacky booth, if you will.

Most of his pals had a right old laugh posing in their tropical-themed outfits and wearing their sunglasses, but Louis couldn’t resist kissing former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy in front of the lens.

Failing to write anything about the pictures with Lucy on Twitter, he posted: “Wishing everyone a brilliant New Year’s Eve celebration. Best of luck to all in 2015. Work hard and enjoy, prosper and inspire.”
