Last night the BAFTAs annoyed fans by not including Rik Mayall and Bob Hoskins in their In Memoriam segment of the awards show, despite both sadly passing away in 2014.
Robin Williams, Lord Richard Attenborough and Lauren Bacall were among the celebrities whose lives were honoured after their deaths last year, but comedian Rik and award-winning actor Bob were left out of a tribute montage.
Bob won the Best Actor BAFTA Award for his performance in Mona Lisa, and also appeared in* The Long Good Friday, Who Framed Roger Rabbit* and Snow White And The Huntsman prior to his death last April.
And although Rik was best known for his television work in The Young Ones, Blackadder and Bottom, he also starred in the films* Drop Dead Fred* and Guest House Paradiso.
Fans took to Twitter to show their distaste for the actors’ snubs.
One Twitter user said: “No mention of either Rik Mayall or Bob Hoskins made in the 'In Memoriam' section of the #BAFTAs. Pretty disgraceful really.”
bafta 2015 style
Sarah Jane Crawford
Pretty The Xtra Factor star SJ opted for a pale pink number with a plunging lace-covered top and matchy make up.
Edith Bowman
DJ Edith went all out in a glittering blue plunging gown with lacy trim and drop earrings to finish.
Hofit Golan
We're not sure what to make of Hofit's get-up. A bit TOO revealing with strange gold extras and a massive bouff. The stars are a bit too crafternoon spesh, for us.
Claudia Winkleman
Clauds opted for an off-the-shoulder LBD puffball frock with strappy red heels to match her lippy. Not our fave look but we love Claudia so whatevs.
Nadia Forde
We're super impressed with I'm A Celeb... star Nadia's BAFTA look! Yes, the thigh split is a bit too high but the overall vibe is very chic.
Hayley Atwell
Brit-American star Hayley showed off her bod in a sheer panel navy dress with caged heels.
Charlotte Riley
Actress Charlotte, who is married to gorge actor Tom Hardy, looked stunning in her one-shoulder black gown with sparkling detail.
Phoebe Fox
Phoebe did well on the red carpet in her key-hole graphic frock with voluminous bun.
Romola Garai
Romola brought punch to proceedings in this bright two-piece with mega colour-blocked heels.
Amy Adams
Hollywood star Amy straightened her wavy locks and donned a powerful white number with a tassled belt for the BAFTAs. We likey.
Laura Haddock
If you can't wear the ultimate princess gown to the BAFTAs where can your wear it, eh? Laura looked super pretty in her frothy frock. The star swept her long hair back into a sleek bun to ensure all focus was on her dress.
Nimrat Kaur
We loved Nimrat's perky pink frock with caped shoulders. Perfect for keeping the chill at bay!
Olivia Grant
Olivia braved the British winter, showcasing her stunning figure in an embellished pink sheath. We love that shade against her red locks and creamy skintone.
Reese Witherspoon
Plunging purple and zero cosy coat = one cold-yet-hot Reese! We're crushing all over her glossy blonde waves.
Rosamund Pike
We loved Rosamund's sleek halter gown and sassy bob.
Laura Bailey
Laura looked beautiful in this popular Emilia Wickstead high-necked frock with a chic star clutch.
Alice Eve
All-black with a cheeky thigh split and red lips. We approve.
Felicity Jones
Pretty Felicity looked sweet in her floral embellished number.
Dianna Agron
Di's dress 'n' shoes combo didn't blow us away. It felt a little too mature on the young star.
Angela Scanlon
Angela's dress might've been a bit blah but those metallic shoes were
Jenna Louise Coleman
We LOVED Jenna's sweet floral look with smokey eyes and soft waves. Her dress had POCKETS. Total win.
Julianna Moore
Too much red? Nope, Jules totes pulls this rouge top-to-toe look off.
Julie Walters
Looking like a walking disco ball is never a bad thing in our books.
Keira Knightley
Keira is a master at disguising her growing baby bump with clever designer dresses. And we're SRSLY into her longer wavy 'do.
Lea Seydoux and Monica Belluci
Two stunning movie stars from very different decades. Lea might just be our best dressed of the night in this cut-out marigold gown with scarlet lips.
Natalie Dormer
The dress on its own would've been really quite nice but with those creepy lace gloves? Nah.
Rachel Riley
We're not sure why Countdown's Rachel Riley chose to chuck an ancient-looking raggedy fur over her nice green dress. Answers on a postcard...
