TOWIE’s Dan Osborne has reportedly been temporarily banned from the show while accusations that he threatened his ex are investigated.
The 23-year-old, who just last month welcomed his second baby, Ella, with new partner Jacqueline Jossa, was reportedly heard in leaked audio threatening to stab his ex, Megan Tomlin, if she slept with another man.
The tape is thought to have been recorded last year, and allegedly has Dan telling Megan – the mother of his son, Ted – that she is “disgusting”, “a ct* and to “go fk yourself”.
Now TOWIE bosses have asked the reality star to stay away from the set, with a spokesperson telling The Sun: “We will be speaking to Dan about this. In the meantime he will not be taking part in filming.”
In the tape – said to be passed on to the newspaper by a concerned friend of Megan – a male voice is heard berating the woman for “breaking up” the family, before she retaliates by saying: “You’re having a baby with someone else.”
The man replies: “I made one mistake because of you.”
“We’re not together, Dan. You’re with someone else. You’re having a baby with someone else,” she adds.
“No, ct, I’m not with anyone else. Right, so shut your fking mouth a minute,” the man is then heard saying.
Last year, Dan was arrested over allegations of assault but was never charged. He has since been accused of verbal and physical abuse, leading police to look into “reports of historic domestic incidents”, a spokesperson said. The investigation continues.
