They each got a tattoo of a skull and crossbone on their middle fingers – very fitting for the Indie-music duo!
It’s clear the couple have a special bond and last month, Ellie and her McBusted star man had a double celebration this weekend – a day after Valentine’s Day, Dougie celebrated four years of sobriety.
Proudly posting a picture of her bloke wearing a yellow bandana on the social media site, Ellie wrote: “This amazing man is four years sober today. What a legend @idougahole.”
Dougie has made no secret of his battle with alcohol in the past and in McFly’s autobiography he revealed he attempted suicide in February 2011 before entering rehab.
His troubles came to a head after he split from his The Saturdays ex-girlfriend Frankie Sandford a few months before his suicide bid.
