Now is the time we really get excited for the festival season. The weather isn’t as pants as it was a month ago, Coachella is just around the corner and the headline acts are being announced.
Glastonbury, arguably the biggest (and some say best) festival on the Brit calendar has announced that Mr Ranty Pants himself, Kanye West, will be headlining Glasto 2015 on Saturday night!
The hip-hop daddy will top the iconic Pyramid Stage, no doubt bringing a whole heap of angst, badass rap and (probs) his wifey Kim Kardashian with him.
Kanye joins the Foo Fighters on the bill, who will headline the festival on the Friday night.
West follows in the very cool footsteps of fellow rapper Jay Z, who was the first hip-hop star to headline the festival back in 2008. A move that cause a fair bit of controversy (Noel Gallagher was miffed to say the least). In the ned it worked out a treat and Jay Z nailed his set.
Whatever Kanye choses to do (he lurrrves the drama, does Kanye), we bet it will be a major talking point over summer. Remember his Wireless rant-a-thon last year? Dreamy.
