But according to onlookers who saw the pair heading back to Michelle’s house after her My Flight To The Top book launch on Saturday night – it could be happening.
So what is going on?
Shayne, 30, headed to Michelle’s launch on Friday night and had the pair exchanged banter on Twitter afterwards. Shayne later told his Twitter followers how he’d “had a ridiculous amount of fun” with Michelle, 43, and her mate following the launch.

She replied a while later to tell him she’d missed Cheltenham “because of you”.
Later that day, it emerged that Shayne had gone back to Michelle’s house following the launch.
Michelle denied any funny business had happened, telling her Twitter followers: “Would like to crush rumours in today's paper. Had 4 friends back at my house after book launch inc my son. Stayed 2 hours,I wasn't with anyone,” but when the Sun claimed Shane was seen leaving her house at 8am the following morning, a lot of eyebrows were raised.
Shayne – who’s currently on tour in the UK promoting his new music – has stayed quiet and not said anything about the rumours while a spokesperson for Michelle clarified her comments and told the MailOnline: “Michelle had four guests and her son back at her apartment. All guests stayed for a few drinks and then departed.”
Michelle, Shayne and the unknown friends didn’t get back to Michelle’s pad until 02:20am and after five hours, Shayne was seen leaving at 8am. Now, we’re not 100% sure but it sounds to us like they probably just pulled an all nighter and sat up drinking until the morning. Very wild, but nothing romantic…
But, we’ll have to wait and see. Both of them are single and attractive…
