When Bruce Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC went live on Friday night, the world reacted in the best possible way.

Talking emotionally and openly about his transition from male to female, Bruce admitted he has struggled with his gender since he was about 8-years-old.

Twitter erupted in support for the reality TV star and Olympian, including his family, the majority of whom posted their love for the Kardashian-Jenner patriarch.

Now it’s been revealed that Bruce, who has yet to reveal his female name, will document his transition from male to female as part of a television series.

The 8-part doc will be shown on E! and will show him living his life as a woman for the first time along with seeing how the people in his life are adapting to the change.

Executive Vice President, Programming and Development of E! Jeff Olde said: "Bruce is incredibly courageous and an inspiration, and we are proud to be entrusted with this deeply personal and important story. This series will present an unfiltered look as Bruce boldly steps into uncharted territory and is true to himself for the first time."
