“It might be like living with a drug addict”: that’s what Blake Lively thinks of becoming a mum

Maybe just stick to calling your daughter a little lamb next time, Blake

Of all the things in the world to compare your beautiful new born baby to (a lamb, a kitten, a sausage, a pudding – you get our drift), DRUG ADDICT is possibly not the nicest description going, but Blake Lively went there.

She told the Los Angeles Times that having babies is addictive in itself, too.

Yo, Blake, maybe step away from the drugs metaphors, as various drugs charities will most likely NOT be pleased with you.

"Having a baby is just living in the constant unexpected,” she said.

"You never know when you're gonna get crapped on or when you're gonna get a big smile or when that smile immediately turns into hysterics. It might be like living with a drug addict.

Might be? MIGHT is probably the key word here, and by might we mean definitely not, unless Blake has a dodgy lodger living in her spare room.

"You have a baby and you think, 'I can't imagine ever not having a baby', because they grow up so quickly. I'd be an 80-year-old woman with a baby if I could."

OK, Blake – we get your drift.

Blake had her first baby, James (and yes, it’s a girl) with husband Ryan Reynolds in December.
