Katie Hopkins has been blasted by the United Nations for her comments in her weekly column for The Sun.

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate referred to tragic drowned migrants as ‘cockroaches’ in the shocking and scathing piece.

Now UN high commissioner has has his say (which is a pretty big deal btw) and condemned the 40-year-old’s comments.

He said: “The Nazi media described people their masters wanted to eliminate as rats and cockroaches,” said Zeid.

“This type of language is clearly inflammatory and unacceptable, especially in a national newspaper. The Sun’s editors took an editorial decision to publish this article, and – if it is found in breach of the law – should be held responsible along with the author.”

Katie’s exact words in her column were: “Make no mistake, these migrants are like cockroaches. They might look a bit ‘Bob Geldof’s Ethiopia circa 1984’, but they are built to survive a nuclear bomb. They are survivors.”

Looks like the next few weeks could be a testing time for Britain’s gobbiest woman.
