Kym Marsh suffered cruel taunts from Twitter trolls over the death of her baby son.
The Coronation Street star’s baby boy Archie passed away after he was born 18 weeks prematurely in 2009 and she received nasty comments online after people heard of the sad news.
The former Hear’Say singer told the Daily Star Sunday: “I’ve had all sorts on Twitter – death threats, people calling me a home-wrecker.
“But the worst thing someone said was ‘Remember when your baby died and I laughed?’
“Messages like that are just sick and you have to think they are coming from someone who is not well.”
However, the star is determined to continue her life as normal and will not let such remarks get her down.
She continued: “It is horrific to have to read something like that but I would never consider quitting Twitter.
“I did read I had quit Twitter but that’s not true. Trolls won’t push me off there, I’m too addicted.”
The star even gets mocked on the social networking site for things she hasn’t done and thinks the best way to deal with the situation is to just ignore any evil messages.
However, she admits she doesn’t always find it easy, adding: “I do find it hard biting my tongue on Twitter and I have found myself in situations where I have retaliated and I shouldn’t have.
“I’ve regretted saying some things. I’ve learned just to block people now and not get involved.”
