If you can’t have Poldark, what about the next best thing?
Actress Eleanor Tomlinson might spend all of her working day cosying up to Poldark actor Aidan Turner, but it’s his body double who she’s dating.
Eleanor, 22, has been seeing horse stunt rider Ben Atkinson, 21, for a while now and the pair are said to be smitten.
They met on the set last April, while she filmed scenes as Demelza, and she was said to have been impressed with his stunts – we’re pretty impressed with his abs too.
Her dad Malcolm, told The Mirror he “completely approves”.
He said: “She is only 22, still very young. But she is completely smitten with Ben. They are very happy together.
“We have all met him and we completely approve. He will often come round and we watch the show together.
“We all watched the first episode together at his parents’ house. We had a Poldark party. That was great fun.”
