The Saturdays haven’t released any new music in ages – their last album Living For The Weekend came out in October 2013, which is over 18 months ago - an AGE in the world of pop.
The Mirror is now reporting that Vanessa White, Mollie King and Una Foden are recording their own material while the band has a bit of a break.
Ooh-er. Could this be the beginning of the end for the girls?

“Una, Mollie and Vanessa are all really excited and a bit nervous about releasing their solo material, but it’s been a long time in the pipeline,” an insider told the paper.
“The girls are still a band, but they’re all happy to work on their own solo projects. It means there’s no animosity or frustration between them – it’s a set-up which works really well.”
Which sounds very agreeable to us – cough, Zayn Malik, cough.
It’s reported that the girls are going for very different sounds – Mollie’s going for a Kylie Minogue vibe, while Una’s going acoustic, and Vanessa’s experimenting with R&B.
But with Frankie Bridge pregnant and Rochelle Humes focusing on her TV presenting, it remains to be seen whether The Sats will actually do any more recording as a group…
