Brian Dowling is in the frame for The Xtra Factor job. Since it was revealed Sarah-Jane Crawford would not be returning to the role, loads of names have been thrown into the mix, including This Morning’s Matt Johnson and children’s TV favourites Sam and Mark.
But now it seems producers have their eye on Brian – who made history by winning Big Brother twice. Not too shabby, eh?
Brian’s got form when it comes to being in front of the camera – the Irishman presented BB before Emma Willis took over the job – and according to an insider, X Factor bosses think he’d be great on the ITV2 show.
“The folk at ITV are big fans of Brian,” an insider told the Sun. His [screen] test went well and h did a very entertaining interview with former X Factor act 2SHOES. It’s vital to them the show is in safe hands.”
We think Brian would be AMAZING. Please, please, please hire him Simon!
