Is ZOELLA taking over the Xtra Factor presenting job?

As 2015 marches on and on and inexorably, unescapably on, it’s time to realise the old ways are done. They’re dead. It’s all about the new generation now, which is why YouTube sensation Zoella – aka Zoe Sugg – has been tipped to replace Sarah Jane Crawford on the Xtra Factor.

There was some speculation that Simon Cowell wanted the 25-year-old vlogger to come in and shake up the format as the new host – and the reports were even mentioned on Good Morning Britain today.

However, Zoe has pissed on everyone’s chips by denying the rumours were true. Taking to Twitter, she said it was “not at all true”.

Another fan even asked whether she and brother Joe Sugg had auditioned for the job, to which she said “nope!”.

So what do we know about The X Factor 2015 so far? Well, judge Louis Walsh is definitely out of a job – there was all that hoo-ha about him being sacked, which he’s denied – and Simon is back in the panel.

Nick ‘Grimmy’ Grimshaw off the radio is pretty much guaranteed a judge’s chair, which leaves the fourth spot open… probably for Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s florally tattooed bottom to perch on.

Oh, and Dermot O’Leary has GONE.. Caroline Flack and Olly Murs will be back presenting together as co-hosts, so we’ll finally see the return of Carolly.
