In need of hair inspo for summer? Look no further than Zoe Kravitz and her freshly chopped bob.

The hipster babe took to Insty to share a snap of her cut, a look she's reclaiming to play Christina in the upcoming Allegiant Pt.1 film. Whatever the reason for the cut, we're in total follicle lust. The flippy length is perf for showing off the shoulders and nape (total hot points, fyi) and her scrunchy texture screams fun.

We asked Jess Gartland at Myla and Davis Brixton to give us the deets on Zoe's new 'do...

Why is Zoe’s new look so good for summer?

"A textured, chunky bob is the perfect summer haircut. It is fresh and low maintenance, ideal for festivals and long sunny days!"

What types of hair can do this?

"This is a style that will suit nearly all hair types, from a beach wave like Zoe's to those with sleeker straight locks wanting to create something cooler and on trend for summer."

What do we ask for in the salon?

"It is always a good idea to bring pictures along to the salon but if you're after this look then ask your stylist for a textured, chunky bob."

Is it versatile?

"Yes, despite the shorter length it is still possible to braid front sections and a simple half up topknot works wonderfully on 'second day' hair"

Bob maintenance – what products do you recommend to care for your hair?

"A professional shampoo and conditioner is the foundation for good hair. I'd recommend theSurf range by Bumble and Bumble, perfect for texture and nice and light for shorter styles. I would continue with the iconic Surf Spray, scrunching some through the ends when wet to create that sea salt look only otherwise achieved on holiday! A touch of Brilliantine will add shine and for day two go for Dryspun Finish, an amazing dry shampoo."
