Princess Charlotte’s birth certificate has been released. So now she’s an OFFICIAL royal baby princess, guys.

Not that a piece of paper makes much of a difference, but we do like to be official in the British Isles, don’t we?

Prince William formally signed Princess Charlotte’s birth certificate this afternoon down at Kensington Palace, reports The Mirror.

A registrar from Westminster Register Office was present.

You can see Wills’ signature for yourself. It’s not even that posh. In fact, it looks like it just says “William”. We’d have got ticked off for that at school. Lazy Wills!

Our eagle eyes have spotted a few little funny bits on the birth certificate. First of all it states that Wills and Kate’s occupations are “Prince” and “Princess of the United Kingdom”. Weird, no?

The registrar must have been REALLY nervous when she filled this document out, that’s for sure.

The Queen is reported to have met little Charlotte this afternoon for the first time. Emosh.

We’re sure Charlotte’s now having a lovely nap, while George gets thoroughly spoiled by his great-granny.
