Sarah Jessica Parker has dropped a huge hint that Sex In The City 3 is in the works.

Taking to Instagram the 50-year-old fashion icon posted a picture of herself carrying the famous Bloomingdale's paper bag, which was featured heavily in the HBO show.

More news!

She added the caption: "Well. I guess the cat's out of the (little brown) bag. As usual, we will keep you posted on every detail as we are able. I'm under strict gag order until then. Xx, Sj"

And it looks like Sarah's gal pal co-stars Kristin Davis, 50, Kim Cattrall, 58, and Cynthia Nixon, 49, would return for the third film too. Kristin and Sarah exchanged cryptic messages seemingly referencing the movie back in October.

Kristin tweeted to Sarah: "Miss YOU XOXOXO!!"

Sarah then replied: "Me too you? Head the news? X"

Kristin added: "You let me know when we can celebrate."

The second film was panned by critics, scoring around 15% on Rotten Tomatoes, which leads us to ask why we live in a world where we can have THREE* Sex In The City* films and ZERO movies based on Friends. No, we will not let this go.

Cynthia Nixon who played Miranda Hobbs revealed that she found parts of the first film "devastating", she said: "I remember when we screened the first movie in London. When Mr. Big shows Carrie that closet he's built for her and the entire audience clapped. I found that devastating. Maybe that's a strong word, but I was disheartened.

"Is this what these women think true love is? A man who has enough money to buy you a walk-in closet?"
