Just when you thought Taylor Swift couldn’t win everything…she pretty much did. The Shake It Off star, who bagged eight gongs at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night has confirmed that her track, Bad Blood, has broken the Vevo 24 hour viewing record.
Bad Blood is the new record holder – Tay took the title from Nicki Minaj and her song Anaconda – with the track getting 20.1 million views in just 24 hours.
The video, which Taylor premiered at the Billboard Awards, features a whole host of her celebrity mates, including: Karlie Kloss, Selena Gomez, Cindy Crawford, Ellen Pompeo, and Mariska Hargitay.
All together, on Vevo, Taylor’s videos have racked up an incredible 5 billion views.
On hearing the news, Taylor went straight onto Twitter and wrote: “FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW YOU BROKE THE VEVO WORLD RECORD THANK YOU”.
She then went on to say thanks to everyone who helped her out.
So, she’s ridiculously successful, she’s incredibly popular and she’s dating Calvin Harris. We are not jealous at all. Not in the slightest….
But well done, Tay! You deserve it all.
