The Amy Winehouse biopic, Amy, is out in July - and a second trailer has just been released which won’t fail to put a lump in your throat.

In the trailer, we see Amy’s meteoric rise to success, with footage of the moment she won a Grammy. She embraces her mum and looks shocked.

We then see footage of Amy and her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil. Amy says the words: “I fell in love with someone I would have died for.”

We then see Amy looking overwhelmed at photographers taking her picture.

She says: “The thing is, I don’t think I’m going to be at all famous. I’m not a girl trying to be a star. I’m just a girl that sings.”

Amy died from alcohol poisoning in 2011 at the age of 27 and we still miss her terribly.

The upcoming release has been controversial to say the very least – Amy’s dad, Mitch Winehouse, and Reg Traviss, who she was engaged to when she died have slammed the film for “exploiting [Amy’s] talent”.

However it’s received rave reviews at the Cannes Film Festival.

The film is released on July 3.
