It’s been reported that George Michael has entered a Swiss rehabilitation centre.

German website Bild alleges that George is currently staying at the Kussacht Practice to seek treatment for his use of cannabis. He’s reported to have been smoking “up to 25 joints a day”.

The treatment centre’s website reads:

"We treat alcohol and drug addiction, eating disorders, compulsive gambling, sex addiction and internet addiction.

"The psychiatric services include personally disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, compulsion neuroses, phobias and traumas."

The star has a history of using cannabis and received an eight-week prison sentence and a five-year driving ban in 2010 after he crashed his car into a branch of Snappy Snaps in London while on drugs.

He was also arrested for possession of Class C drugs in 2006 and has had several more brushes with the law involving the drug.

George later sad: "Jail wasn't great. I just thought, 'Get your head down and get on with it'. It turned out to be easier than I was expecting because I knew I deserved to be there."

We really hope that George is OK.
