Is Liam Payne LEAVING One Direction? Star responds to solo review sending fans into meltdown

One Direction haven’t had the easiest of years so far after Zayn Malik left the band in March, and things have gone from bad to worse for their fans after speculation mounted Liam Payne was also set to quit this weekend.

After attending their recent gig in Oslo, one Directioner published a review online which happened to catch Liam’s eye.

The fan praised Liam for his vocals and for being entertaining throughout the show, before adding: “In conclusion I would definitely attend a Liam Payne concert. He was a joy to watch and looked like he belonged on that stage.

“With his talents I do believe he has the power to go beyond 1D. He has a big future ahead of him. Payne loves his fans, loves his boys, loves the music and it’s obvious.”

After reading the glowing report, Liam tweeted: “Whoever did that review thank you that really means a lot to me x.”

The star’s message quickly send 1D fans into a spin with many predicting his response meant he could be considering embarking on a solo career soon.

One person tweeted: “Am I the only one who is, sort of, freaking out about that review about Liam going solo.. not in a good way...”

However, Liam was quick to settle things, responding: “I didn’t mean like that hun I meant about loving my boys my job and the music and that in a show people can see that :).”

Phew! All is right with the world, then...
