His headline set was a bit of a sore point with faithful Glasto goers, 134K of them even signed a petition to get him off the 2015 line up. For one bloke, seeing Yeezus up onstage last night was too much and he took it upon himself to do something about it.
Comedian Lee Nelson jumped on the stage to, ahem, join Yeezy in front of the jumping crowds at the mega festival. Lee wore a Lee-zus tee to really get into the spirit of things.
Apparently Nelson was doing it for life brownie points to help little old Kanye out. He tweeted before the gig; “Some people were saying Kanye shouldn’t headline Glastonbury so I thought I’d give him a hand.” What a gent, eh?
Erm Kanye probably didn’t think so. After a short period of trying to put his own-brought microphone to good use, Lee-zus was pulled off stage by big, burly security men.
Actual Yeezus was left shocked and preeeeeetty annoyed by the stunt but continued like the true profesh he is. Wifey Kim Kardashian was proudly watching her husband from the side of the stage and at one point Kanye spoke about his love for her. Which, we have to admit, was super cute.
Kim missed sister Khloe Kardashian’s birthday celebrations due to Glasto as did little sister Kendall who was busy being a maje squad babe at Taylor Swift’s BST performance.
