Kerry Katona opens up about terrifying ordeal after husband George Kay was hospitalised with stroke symptoms

Kerry Katona has opened up about her fears for husband George Kay’s health after he was rushed to hospital with signs of a stroke.

The Atomic Kitten singer begged fans to pray for her other half in a message on Twitter on Thursday but now has an anxious wait while doctors run tests on former rugby player George.

Reality star Kerry told The Sun: “It was so frightening. We just want to know what’s gone on and whether it might happen again.”

Breaking the sad news of George’s illness to fans this week, Kerry tweeted: “Asking you all to say a prayer for my @mrgsjkay been taken into hospital with signs of a stroke xxx.”

Attempting to reassure his followers slightly, George added: “Hoping it’s bells paisley (think that’s how you spell it) xxx.”

The couple were quickly sent well wishes by fans as they waited in the hospital to been seen.

One person wrote: “Thinking of you both and really hope George is ok Kerry xxx.”

Another posted: “omg hun praying for him & you all. My bf had one a few weeks ago. Loads of love to you all xx.”
