Kim Kardashian makes us feel like we know her.
From her gushing tweets about Kanye West to her revealing Selfie book to sobbing through fertility problems on KUWTK (and of course, that sex tape with rapper Ray J), she’s a master at making us feel like we’re part of her life.

But while Kim has built a multimillion-dollar empire by sharing it all, she’s also skilled in glossing over the parts she doesn’t want you to know.

A new tell-all book is in the pipeline and Kim is worried that seedy details from her past will emerge and affect her new image as a wife, mother and style icon.
The book, simply entitled Kim, is being written by best-selling biographer Sean Smith, who is known for leaving no stone unturned when it comes to his celebrity subjects.
We spoke exclusively to Sean, who told us it’s the pre-fame part of her life that he’s really interested in.
“By modern standards, Kim found fame quite late,” he tells us. “She will be 35 when the book comes out, and for the great majority of her life, nobody had a clue who she was.
“Justin Bieber, for instance, is 21. Miley Cyrus is 22. By their age, Kim had eloped to Vegas to get married and had gone through her first divorce. It’s like an X-rated version of Dynasty with amazing dresses, bigger hair and much better make-up,” he says.
Sean is currently in LA, interviewing Kim’s friends, business associates and even some of her enemies.
A Kardashian family insider tells us that Kim has heard the book is in the works and, to put it mildly, the star – who is pregnant with her second child – is having kittens.
“Kim is absolutely petrified,” a friend of the star tells heat.
“She’s calling people she hasn’t spoken to in years, asking them not to talk about her. Her biggest fear is two ex-boyfriends – including two rival rappers – being named in the book.”
An insider, who knows exactly which of Kim’s friends Sean is talking to in LA (everyone from former employees to old school friends), tells us the book will dig into Kim’s second divorce from Kris Humphries in 2011 and the sex tape she made in 2003… and how it managed to leak just as KUWTK first started to air. Hmmm, weird coincidence, right?
