Thought that Fifty Shades madness was over? Think again. EL James is eking another book out of the hugely popular franchise - but this time the story will be told from Christian Grey's perspective, rather than his lover Anastasia Steele's.

The author revealed that Grey, a new novel, would be released on June 18, the date of Christian Grey's birthday. She posted a picture of the cover to her Instagram and Twitter accounts, confirming the news.

James revealed:

“Christian is a complex character, and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past.

"Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story.

"It’s been a great pleasure to return to my happy place – writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic publishing teams in the US and the UK.”

She added that she has dedicated the book "to those readers who asked…and asked… and asked… and asked for this".

Sounds like those readers will be delighted by the news - those tired of the film mania, Ana and her inner goddess...not so much.
