Henry Cavill on those Fifty Shades Of Grey rumours…

Fifty Shades Of Superman, anyone?

It had been rumoured that Henry Cavill was joining fellow British heart-throb Jamie Dornan in the cast of *Fifty Shades *for the upcoming sequel, Fifty Shades Darker.

These rumours had pegged Superman to be taking on the role of Jack Hyde, Anastasia Steele's publishing house boss, who has the hots for her. In the book it describes him as "a man with with sensual blue eyes that can pierce your heart".

Henry Cavill has blue eyes and is also a man, so things seemed promising, especially when he told E!: "Basically what I can say is I can't say anything about it right now".

However, we managed to get a definitive answer out of the Man Of Steel. When asked about the rumours he was doing a Fifty Shades sequel, Henry's co-star, Armie Hammer, jumped in and said: "He's doing it. Totally doing it. Absoloutely doing it. He confided in me earlier, I'm sorry to break your trust. He's definitely doing it."

But Henry soon put an end to the jokes and told us: "It would be a lot of fun to continue this rouse, but I'm not doing it. No.

Armie Hammer, who was sat with Henry promoting their new film Man From U.N.C.L.E, jumped in and added "yet", just to raise our suspicions. However, Henry quashed the hopes of Fifty Shades fans by denying it yet again and saying the whole thing had just got "confused".

So there you have it. Henry Cavill ISN'T doing Fifty Shades Darker, sorry. Here's a picture of Henners without his shirt on so you can console yourselves.
