Jeremy Clarkson may have to wait 2 years to launch new Top Gear show on ITV

Jeremy Clarkson and his Top Gear crew may have to wait TWO whole years to make a rival motoring show on ITV.

A clause in Jeremy, Richard Hammond and James May’s old BBC contracts prevents them from making a rival car show on a UK channel until April 2017, The Mirror reports.

    Bummer…

    ITV and Netflix are thought to be leading the race to sign Jez, Richard and James for a new project.

    But now all these problems with ITV being a UK channel ‘n’ all that means that the fellas might choose to go with online streaming service, Netflix.
