In case you didn't know, Lena Dunham didn't like to run as a form of exercise, but now she does. AND she's very proud - she's even got a personal trainer.

The Girls star shared a picture on her Instagram revealing that she previously hated running and runs like a wounded baby Pterodactyl, which we'd pay to watch. Only joking Lena. Think of your running like Phoebe from F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Alongside her posted running picture on Insta, she posted the caption:"Not usually one to post a paparazzi shot but this fills me with pride.

"Basically my whole life I have hated running and run like a wounded baby Pterodactyl. It was embarrassing and honestly I did not trust myself to escape a burning building or even move briskly towards a buffet.

@jennikonner is directing the season finale of Girls and decided that as Hannah evolved so would her run, so she got me a training session with Matt Wilpers from Mile High Run Club.

"Within an hour I had a different relationship to this formerly torturous activity. I felt strong, swift and proud.

"I'm not about to embrace that triathlon life but it's a true joy to continue getting more connected to my body and its powers. (Extra motivation provided by @manrepeller for @outdoorvoices.) #moveforyourmind."

    Go Lena!

Speaking on 'move for your mind' - an initiative to raise awareness of the importance of exercise in regards to her mental health, Lena said: “It has helped with my anxiety in ways I never dreamed possible,” Dunham said recently of her new fitness routine.

“To those struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression: I know it's mad annoying when people tell you to exercise, and it took me about 16 medicated years to listen. I'm glad I did. It ain't about the ass, it's about the brain.”

We genuinely salute and commend you, Lena. Keep at it girl!

    Pre-writing phase1 of 5

    Pre-writing phase

Hannah’s still not REALLY bonding with her classmates – especially as she’s feeling insecure about her writing, admitting to Elijah that Marnie “wrote half of my papers”. Who knew? “I’m in a more pre-writing phase?” she adds to Jessa.Meanwhile, fuelled by a heady mix of what looks like WKD Blue and self-righteousness, Hannah tells her classmates exactly what she thinks of them. It’s not pretty. Only another couple of months sitting in the same room with them, eh?

    Non-selfie-selfies

We called it: this is Elijah’s series, because he gets all the best lines: “I got so good at taking selfies, I wasn’t challenged anymore. I thought: what would happen if I turned the camera … around?”

Marnie, back in New York, is very torn up about being Desi’s “mistress”. "He puts his hand on my butt when we’re in line in Starbucks!” she insists. No WAY does that hipster go to Starbucks, Marnie, let’s be honest here. She’s so tense about the whole thing, she makes their record company meeting super-awkward…

    AGAIN?

…which leads to a lovely public row. “I already know what I want, and you’re not offering it to me,” says Marnie. We’d say she’s finally seen the light, but earlier in the episode she has sex with Ray. Again. One step forward, one step back.

    Secrets and weeing

Now, what’s going on with Jessa and Adam? They’re seeing each other daily (at AA meetings) and Jessa seems to know that Adam’s seeing someone new – yet she hasn’t told Hannah. What’s going on? Well, Jessa gets arrested for weeing in the street, and it kicks off a mini-meltdown where she admits that she really needs Adam to be her friend. This explains a LOT – and that’s why she’s keeping Hannah in the dark about Adam’s new girlfriend. Oh Jessa. This can’t end well.
